The Alternative Learning School (ALS) at Sandiwaan is designed to provide out-of-school youth, particularly those from underprivileged backgrounds, with a chance to complete their elementary and high school education. Each year, we screen up to 150 applicants from Tondo, selecting 50 for our comprehensive year-long training.
The year-long ALS curriculum merges academic preparation for equivalency exams with skills training in digital literacy, critical thinking, vocational readiness, and sustainable practices, equipping students for further education or immediate employment.
Successful completion leads to a high school diploma, with additional support for entrepreneurship and job placement.
